WR Meacham leaves practice with knee injury. Terry McCormick
It was a good news/bad news situation for the San Diego Chargers in Wednesday night's practice.
First, the good news: Running back Ryan Mathews was back at practice and looked sharp just two days after being involved in a minor auto accident, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
The bad news for the Chargers: Wide receiver Robert Meachem left practice after sustaining a knee injury. But even that news might not be too bad. Meachem was tended to by a team trainer and walked off the field under his own power. Coach Norv Turner didn't seem to think the injury was too serious, but said the team would know more later today.
