The San Diego Chargers have struck a four-year deal with fourth-round safety Darrell Stuckey, a league source confirmed.
Stuckey, who's slated to compete for a starting job at strong safety, received standard base salaries of $320,000, $405,000, $490,000 and $575,000 as well as a signing bonus of $506,000.
The total base value is nearly $2.3 million.
The 5-foot-11, 208-pounder from the University of Kansas has 4.46 speed in the 40-yard dash and has posted a 39 1/2 inch vertical leap.
In 45 career games, he recorded 295 tackles, 19 pass deflections and eight interceptions.
