The San Diego Chargers now have the inside track at the sixth and final playoff spot in the AFC.

Entering Sunday, it was a four-way race for the final Wild Card slot between the Ravens, Dolphins, Steelers and Chargers.

Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Miami were among the teams to play in the 1 p.m. time slot. The Steelers defeated the Browns 20-7, the Dolphins lost to the Jets 20-7 and the Ravens lost to the Bengals 34-17. With those three games playing out the way they did, the Chargers can advance to the postseason with a win over the Chiefs.

Making things easier for the Chargers is the fact that Kansas City will rest its starters. Among the Chiefs' inactives are Jamaal Charles, Alex Smith and Dwayne Bowe.

If for some reason the Chargers aren't able to defeat a second-string Chiefs squad, the Steelers will earn the final Wild Card berth.
