Hardwick, Gaither top priorities to re-sign right now. Terry McCormick
The San Diego Chargers offensive line was in shambles at the end of last season, thanks to injuries, including a concussion that led to guard Kris Dielman's retirement.
But as free agency approaches, the Chargers are working to put some of the pieces back together as in re-signing center Nick Hardwick and left tackle Jared Gaither, says the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Hardwick has been a mainstay on the Chargers offensive line, while Gaither played well after being claimed off waivers in 2011 to fill in for Marcus McNeill, who might not be able to pass the team's physical and could be released.
Once their offensive line issues are solved, the Chargers then can try and re-sign receiver Vincent Jackson, who is set to become a free agent next week.
