Linebacker Tim Dobbins was in on three tackles during the Chargers' goalline stand in the second quarter. But he figures he got an assist from the Cowboys for calling Marion Barber's number four straight times.

``I don't know what they were thinking but after the second time you gotta think, `don't run that play no more,' Dobbins said. ``I don't know if they watched film or what.

``In our mind, we knew he wasn't blocking. We knew he had to get the ball. He's not getting paid to block. Everybody knows that, everybody in the stands new that. We knew it was going to be a flip or a dive, one or the other. I don't know what they were thinking.'

The stand fired up San Diego, which went into the locker room with a 10-3 lead.

``That changed the whole momentum,' Dobbins said. ``If they scored, we might come in sad, but we all came together as a defense and we decided they weren't going to get in there. They called the same play over and over anyway.'
