Chargers release 11 players

The San Diego Chargers announced that they cut 11 players on Friday.

Those players were cornerback Cornelius Brown, safety Sean Cattouse, linebacker Phillip Dillard, cornerback Greg Gatson, linebacker Jerrell Harris, cornerback William Middleton, linebacker Dan Molls, offensive tackle Randy Richards, offensive guard Stephen Schilling, offensive tackle Max Starks, and wide receiver Luke Tasker.

The Chargers are now sitting at 64 players on their roster and need to get down to 53 by Saturday at 6 p.m. EST. That is the NFL's mandatory cut down deadline.
