The San Diego Chargers added another defender to their preseason roster.

The organization announced that they've signed linebacker Victor Aiyewa to a contract. A year ago, Aiyewa played five games for the Green Bay Packers, recording four tackles.

A University of Washington product, Aiyewa has bounced around in the NFL since 2011.

The Chargers made room for Aiyewa by waiving injured linebacker Alvin Scioneaux. Scioneaux will revert to San Diego's injured reserve designation if he clears waivers.
