The San Diego Chargers are planning to host former Notre Dame linebacker and Heisman runner-up Manti Te'o on a visit, per Ed Werder of ESPN.
Between the fake girlfriend hoax, a poor performance in the BCS National Championship Game and a slow 40 time, Te'o's draft stock has certainly taken a hit from what it was several months ago. However, teams are still showing interest in him, with some draftniks still projecting him to go late in the first round of the draft.
Te'o recently visited with the Lions and now will spend some time with the Chargers, who are retooling under a new regime with Tom Telesco as general manager and new general manager Mike McCoy.
