The San Diego Chargers will release left tackle Jared Gaither today, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune's Michael Gehlken.
Gaither's release will be a costly one for the Chargers as it will mean a $6 million acceleration of dead money onto the team's 2013 salary cap.
