Packers safety has always been philanthropic Brad Biggs
Green Bay Packers safety Charles Woodson announced he is personally donating $100,000 to the Red Cross in order to assist families devastated by Superstorm Sandy.
The Associated Press reports Woodson made the announcement Thursday at the airport in Green Bay during a Democratic rally.
This isn’t the first time Woodson has made a significant personal donation. In 2009, he donated $2 million to the University of Michigan Mott Children’s Hospital and Women’s Hospital. The donation supported pediatric research. Woodson, of course, starred at Michigan during his college career.
