Packers CB was fortunate he wasn't ejected Brad Biggs
Charles Woodson has been fined $10,000 by the NFL for throwing a punch in the season opener for the Green Bay Packers last week.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports Woodson was levied for his swing at New Orleans Saints tight end David Thomas.
It’s somewhat surprising Woodson wasn’t ejected from the game for the act. Typically, throwing a punch leads to a quick trip to the locker room. Officials did see the play as the Packers were penalized 15 yards for Woodson’s infraction.
