It’s only been one day since the Chicago Bears dropped Chester Taylor, but the veteran running back has already found a new home.
The move makes sense for an Arizona team that traded Tim Hightower to the Redskins at the end of July and then lost rookie running back Ryan Williams for the year during the second week of the preseason.
The 31-year-old Taylor signed an impressive four-year, $12.5 million contract with the Bears during the 2010 offseason, but after rushing for just 267 yards and three touchdowns in 16 games, Chicago admitted they made a mistake and sent him packing on Saturday.
Taylor joins Beanie Wells, LaRod Stephens-Howling and Alfonso Smith in the Arizona backfield.
