Kansas City Chiefs Dwayne Bowe has broken ribs, and the injury could finish his season, according to the Kansas City Star.

Bowe suffered the injury in the first half of Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Browns, and could be placed on injured reserve.

He has already been ruled out of this Sunday's game with Oakland.

“One of the things Bowe presents is some dependability to our offense, playmaking ability,’’ coach Romeo Crennel said. “We all kind of depend on him a little bit. With him being out, what we’re going to have to do is rely on those other guys to step up and be able to make some plays for us so that we can generate some offense.’’
