Zimmer charged Sunday night following loss to Colts. Terry McCormick
In what has been a lost year for the Kansas City Chiefs, one more thing went wrong Sunday night.
Assistant coach Adam Zimmer was charged with driving under the influence following the 2-13 Chiefs' loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
Zimmer, the son of Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, was involved in a single-vehicle crash around 9 p.m., according to the Kansas City Star.
The Chiefs have already dealt with the murder-suicide of linebacker Jovan Belcher a few weeks ago, not to mention having the worst record in the league, in what has to rank as perhaps the lowest point in the franchise's history.
