Tight end, receiver did not contribute much in 2012. Terry McCormick
The Kansas City Chiefs parted ways with a pair of veterans who had lackluster seasons in 2012, in releasing tight end Kevin Boss and receiver Steve Breaston.
Boss spent last season with the Chiefs and had just three catches before landing on injured reserve with a head injury. He had played for the Oakland Raiders in 2011 and had been with the New York Giants before that.
Breaston was a free agent pickup from the Arizona Cardinals in 2011 and had 61 catches in his first year in Kansas City. However, last year, he was inactive for most of the games and totaled just seven catches all year.
