The Kansas City Chiefs have signed former Notre Dame wide receiver David Grimes to a free agent deal.
Grimes started 22 games at Notre Dame, catching 90 passes for 900 yards with seven touchdowns.
He also returned 36 kickoffs for 852 yards.
As a senior, he caught 35 passes for 321 yards and three touchdowns.
He was signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted rookie fee agent last year.
Now, the former Fighting Irish starter has been reunited with former Notre Dame coach and current Chiefs offensive coordinator Charlie Weis.
