The Kansas City Chiefs have signed veteran free agent offensive guard Ryan Lilja, the team announced.
Lilja was recently cut by the Indianapolis Colts.
Lilja attended high school in Kansas City and played collegiately at Kansas State.
Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chiefs in 2004, he was cut and later signed by the Colts.
Lilja, 28, recently flunked his physical with the Colts.
The 6-foot-2, 290-pound blocker should provide experience and skill to the Chiefs' offensive line.
