The Kansas City Chiefs have signed veteran free agent center Casey Wiegmann, the team announced.

Wiegmann has played 14 years, including stints with the Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets, Chicago Bears, Chiefs and the Denve Broncos for the past two seasons.

He made the Pro Bowl with the Broncos in 2008.

Wiegmann started 111 consecutive regular season games and opened two playoff contests during his initial stint with the Chiefs. Dating back to 2001, Wiegmann has started 143 consecutive games at center and has taken 9,078 consecutive snaps at that position.

He played collegiately at Iowa.
