Chiefs sign wide receiver Kyle Williams

The Kansas City Chiefs re-signed wide receiver Kyle Williams to a one-year contract.

Williams was claimed off waivers from the San Francisco 49ers last year before tearing his anterior cruciate ligament shortly after joining the team.

Williams, 25, could replace Dexter McCluster as a returner.

A former San Francisco 49ers sixth-round draft pick, Williams has 47 career catches for 574 yards and four touchdowns.

Williams is an experienced return man.
