The Kansas City Chiefs have signed defensive tackle Jerrell Powe, cutting defensive tackle Kyle Love.

Fullback Toben Opurum was signed to the practice squad.

Powe is a 2011 Chiefs sixth-round draft pick who has played in 10 contests in two NFL seasons with the Chiefs, recording six tackles. Powe was released in September.

Love has played in 42 games with 25 starts in three NFL seasons with the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs, playing in one game for Kansas City. He has 65 tackles and 5 1/2 career sacks.
