The Tennessee Titans and running back Chris Johnson are at an impasse as they try to reduce his $8 million base salary.
"My agent and titans front office had a talk yesterday and everything is still at a stand still," Johnson wrote on Twitter, "so it's a waiting game while I continue to grind."
Johnson underwent repair for a torn meniscus this offseason.
If Johnson declines a pay cut request, he could be released.
