Chris Johnson believes he can still be CJ2K

Chris Johnson was regarded as one of the NFL's top running backs in 2009 when he ran for 2,006 yards.

Perhaps his image as a premier running back took a hit because he hasn't been able to replicate those numbers, though he's posted 1,000-yard seasons since.

Now that he's with the Jets, Johnson believes he can return to CJ2K form.

“I’d just retire and not play anymore if I didn’t feel like I was still capable of being a 2,000-yard back,” Chris Johnson told the New York Daily News. “I know I have the ability.”

If there was ever a team for a running back to go to in what's become a passing league it would be the Jets. Rex Ryan is a run-first head coach and Geno Smith is still learning the nuances of the professional game as a passer. Jets fans could find themselves pleased with this offseason acquisition.
