When the Colts traded for Trent Richardson early this season, they likely didn't figure the former third overall pick would lose his starting spot.
That's what happened when Colts coach Chuck Pagano pegged Donald Brown the starting running back for Sunday's game against the Titans.
Brown ran for 54 yards on 14 carries and scored a touchdown in Indianapolis' 22-14 win.
“Donnie earned the opportunity the way he was working and running the football," Pagano said, via the Indianapolis Star. "Felt like, we’re still going to use two backs, but [Brown] earned the opportunity.”
