Ex-girlfriend has sued him for punitive damages Brad Biggs
A civil lawsuit against Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall was dismissed last month.
According to the Chicago Tribune, records in Georgia State Court show the suit was dismissed. Marshall’s ex-girlfriend Rasheedah Watley had filed suit against him in 2009. She was seeking punitive damages after accusing him of two counts of battery and false imprisonment.
Attorneys for both parties declined to comment on the matter. A jury had found Marshall not guilty of battery charges against Watley in 2009. Marshall has since married Michi Nogami-Campbell.
