Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews was fined $15,750 by the league office.

He was fined for a hit against the Detroit Lions involving helmet contact.

Detroit Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy was also fined $15,750 for his helmet hit on Packers tight end Ryan Taylor where he was penalized for unnecessary roughness.

Atlanta Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon was fined $15,750. for leading with his helmet on a hit on Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback EJ Manuel.

St. Louis Rams safety T.J. McDonald wasn't fined for his groin tackle of San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis.
