Clemson has landed a commitment from out-of-state Class of 2014 running back Adam Choice, who excels as a Flexbone quarterback at his Georgia high school, according to 247Sports.
The news comes two days after Dabo Swinney and his staff landed in-state running back C.J. Fuller, a 5-10, 204-pounder.
The 5-9, 196-pound Choice, who is a compact runner from Thomas County Central High School (Thomasville, GA), chose the Tigers over other major programs such as Georgia, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee and Texas.
The consensus Top 20 national running back, Choice is a tough and physical runner despite his size. He also has good vision and change-of-direction skills, so he could see the field early for Swinney and Co.
Choice, who is a relative of former Georgia Tech players Tashard Choice and Joe Burns, rushed for 1,650 yards and 23 touchdowns in 2012. He is the seventh commitment for the Tigers in their 2014 class, and all of them are on the offensive side of the ball, including top dual-threat quarterback Deshaun Watson of Georgia.
