PHILADELPHIA—Good news out of Philadelphia as Colts wide receiver Austin Collie is alert and sitting up in the locker room after sustaining a concussion during the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Eagles, per a recent press box announcement.

The veteran wideout was leveled by Eagles safeties Quintin Mikell and Kurt Coleman during a second quarter drive.  Collie was down on the field and lay motionless for a few minutes before being taken to the locker room on a stretcher.

Mikell was hit with a 15-yard unnecessary roughness flag that drew a downpour of boos from the Philly faithful at Lincoln Financial Field.  After checking out the replay, it looks like the refs blew the call.

As for Collie, the Indianapolis receiver is done for the day (concussion).  For as bad as that hit looked, it’s great to hear he’s up and moving around back in the locker room.
