Wide receiver Austin Collie has already been informed by the Indianapolis Colts that he will not be part of their plans in 2013.

But the injury-prone receiver, who has battled several concussions and missed nearly all of last season with a knee injury, tells the Indianapolis Star that he will wants to play somewhere this season.

"I’m playing,’ Collie said. “Right now, it would take a doctor to tell me, ‘You can’t play anymore.’

“I feel like this is a gift that I’ve been given, and personally I feel I should still be doing it. That’s just me.’’

Collie said some of his inspiration to come back and play comes from Colts coach Chuck Pagano, who battled back after being diagnosed with leukemia during the season.
