University of Texas quarterback Colt McCoy completed every pass during the Longhorns' annual Pro Day workout.
McCoy had a solid workout, according to various reports, assuring NFL scouts that his right shoulder is completely healed.
McCoy told Texas reporters that he "absolutely" had a first-round workout.
It was regarded as more of a second-round showing, though, by NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock.
"I think he’s a solid second-round pick," Mayock said.
Mayock made a few more comments about McCoy's showing, mostly positive ones.
"I think the most important factor was that he showed he was healthy," Mayock said. "He throws the ball deep, he throws it intermediate, and he has excellent deep touch and accuracy. I loved his footwork.
"I knew he was a great athlete, so he has great mobility. He’s smart and tough — you can see that off tape. The most important thing I saw was his ability to drive in intermediate routes — both the in-breaking big route and the comeback route. He showed he can do that."
