Colts CB Toler suffers concussion

Greg Tolar, a free agent pickup in the off-season for the Indianapolis Colts, was out of Thursday's practice due to a concussion.

When asked about the cornerback's injury, he said, "It's not real serious."

Of course, the NFL takes any sort of concussion seriously these days. So Tolar will miss some time while be heals from the injury and is able to pass a baseline test.

"Again, it is one of those deals where you have to go through the protocol so I think he was tested today and they will do some treadmill running and things like that," Pagano said. "They will go through the proper protocol, test him again tomorrow and then we just wait until they release him just like when it happens during the season, you still got to go through the normal protocol.”

Also, linebacker Daniel Adongo, the former rugby player getting a shot in the NFL, was sidelined with a biceps injury, something Pagano said predated his football tryout.

“He had a bicep coming in here that happened a couple years ago, just aggravated that so again he’s a work in progress, as we know, first time ever putting on a helmet, number one, pants number two, shoulder pads three," Pagano said. "Again, like anybody else we are going to protect him. There is no need to rush it with Daniel so we are just going to hold him out for a while and let him heal up so nothing serious.”
