Bengals defensive coordinator latest on Indy list of candidates. Terry McCormick
Since firing Jim Caldwell on Tuesday, the Indianapolis Colts have wasted no time in looking for candidates to fill the vacancy.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the Colts have asked for permission to interview Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer.
Zimmer has made the rounds this off-season, in both Tampa Bay and Miami. He is no longer under consideration for the Dolphins head coaching vacancy, but now joins the fray in Indy that already includes candidates Pete Carmichael of New Orleans and Jerry Gray of Tennessee.
