The Indianapolis Colts are signing former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Deji Karim, cutting running back Davin Meggett.
Karim has rushed for 341 career yards and caught 18 passes for 129 yards. He's returned 91 kickoffs for 2,332 yards and one touchdown.
Last season, Karim played in seven games for the Houston Texans and rushed 12 times for 51 yards while posting five kickoff returns for 104 yards. In 2012, he played in three games for the Colts, where he returned nine kickoffs for 328 yards, including a career-long 101-yard return for a touchdown.
Meggett was signed by the Colts as a free agent in July. Meggett was originally signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Maryland.
