The Indianapolis Colts cut ties with indefinitely suspended wide receiver LaVon Brazill.

Brazill was released today. He's suspended for at least a year for violating the NFL drug policy.

Brazill served a four-game suspension last season for violating the substance-abuse policy.

A former Colts sixth-round draft pick, Brazill caught 12 passes last season for 161 yards and two touchdowns.

The Colts signed free agent wide receiver Aaron Burks to replace him on the roster. Burks is a former Tampa Bay Buccaneers undrafted free agent who was cut in June. He played at Boise State where he caught 47 passes for 743 yards and four touchdowns.
