Colts deal Hughes to Bills

The Indianapolis Colts have traded linebacker/defensive end Jerry Hughes, their first-round pick in 2010 to the Buffalo Bills, per Jason Cole of Yahoo!, in exchange for linebacker Kelvin Sheppard.

Hughes had four of his five career sacks last year as the Colts went to a 3-4 defense, but now likely will go back to being a defensive end in Buffalo's 4-3 scheme.

Sheppard posted 80 tackles, including 56 solo stops, for the Bills last year.
