The defensive coordinator carousel has been spinning at a brisk rate in recent days, as the Indianapolis Colts, spurned by Keith Butler, have hired Greg Manusky to run their defense, says Alex Marvez of FoxSports.com.

Manusky previously had been a candidate for the Oakland Raiders defensive coordinator's post.

Meanwhile, the Raiders are now on the trail of Green Bay Packers defensive backs coach Joe Whitt, Jr., as their next defensive coordinator candidate, according to Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times.
