Offensive coordinator, offensive line coach named Aaron Wilson
In moves forecasted long ago, the Indianapolis Colts formally announced that Clyde Christensen is now the offensive coordinator in place of Tom Moore and Pete Metzelaars as offensive line coach in place of Howard Mudd.
Moore remains with the staff as senior offensive assistant.
Christensen was previously the assistant head coach and receivers coach.
Now, former Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Ron Turner is the wide receivers coach.
Metzelaars was previously the assistant offensive line coach and quality control coach.
Former Kansas State coach Ron Prince is the new assistant offensive line coach.
And Jim Bob Cooter was elevated to offensive assistant from staff assistant.
Cooter has a checkered history of off-field problems.
A former walk-on quarterback at the University of Tennessee, Cooter was charged with aggravated burglary last July.
While inebriated, he allegedly broke into a woman's apartment through a windown and got into bed with her.
In 2006, Cooter was arrested for driving under the influence. An underage female was in the car and had an open container of alcohol.
