The Indianapolis Colts signed former Florida cornerback Louchiez Purifoy, the organizaiton announced on Monday.
Purifoy totaled 102 tackles (69 solo), 12 passes defensed, five forced fumbles, 4.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, 2.0 sacks and one fumble recovery during his time with the Gators, starting 19 games. He went undrafted this past weekend after being projected to go in the middle rounds.
However, it was recently revealed that Purifoy was busted for possession of marijuana and bath salts but was never arrested.
According to The Gainesville Sun, Purifoy agreed to become an informant for police after he was caught with drugs but never upheld his end of the bargain. Thus, a warrant was issued for Purifoy's arrest by the Alachua County Sheriff's Office.
