The Indianapolis Colts announced Wednesday that they have reached an agreement with defensive tackle Ricky Jean-Francois.
Jean-Francois was a key member of the NFC champion San Francisco 49ers defensive line, and now is being counted upon to bolster the Colts defensive front.
Jean-Francois was regarded as one of a number of defensive tackles who would be attractive free agents on the open market, and reports came out Wednesday night that the Colts were serious in their pursuit of him.
