Colts trade for Eagles RB David Flueelen, send K Cody Parker to Philly

The Indianapolis Colts traded kicker Cody Parker to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for running back David Fluellen.

Parker and Fluellen had both been waived, but the waivers were rescinded prior to the 4 p.m. deadline.

The Colts also waived running back Phillip Tanner.

Fluellen rushed for 3,336 career yards at Toledo, including 1,121 yards and 10 touchdowns last season as a senior.

Parkey was originally signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent in May. He graduated from Auburn ranking in the top five in all kicking categories.

Tanner was signed by the Colts as a free agent last month. In three NFL seasons,he has 56 carries for 149 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Tanner has also added nine receptions for 93 yards.

On Tuesday, the Colts signed free agent guard Andre Cureton.
