California prosecutors are leaning against charging San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Ray McDonald with domestic violence stemming from his arrest on suspicion of attacking his pregnant fiancee, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

A decision is expected to be announced soon.

No public comment was issued.

McDonald allegedly had "visible injuries,' including red marks and bruises. McDonald has said that he was defending himself against a physical attack by his fiancee.
