Cordy Glenn passes physical, returns to Bills

The Bills will welcome back a key piece to their offensive line on Saturday.

Starting left tackle Cordy Glenn passed his physical and should be taken off of the non-football illness list as a result. He was given that designation shortly before training camp opened, which sidelined him for the first few weeks of the preseason.

The Bills never revealed the medical condition Glenn was recovering from, though maintained their optimism to local reporters that he'd be back by Week 1. It's unknown how much he'll practice with his teammates on Saturday, though he is expected to be present for the session at 6 p.m.

Glenn is extremely importan to an offensive line that wants to pave the way for running backs C.J. Spiller, Fred Jackson and Bryce Brown. It's key for the Bills to have him back for the season-opener. It's even better for them that he'll have the remainder of the preeason to get into football shape.
