Dallas Cowboys offensive guard Brian Waters is out for the season with a torn triceps, owner Jerry Jones announced this morning on his radio show.
He will be placed on injured reserve. Waters also hyperextended his knee and injured his ribs against the Detroit Lions.
Mackenzy Bernadeau will start in his place.
“We’ve got Bernadeau that started for us last year and played well," Jones said. “That’s the way we will go. We’ll look to what we do with depth off our practice squad.”
Waters' loss is significant. He's a six-time Pro Bowl selection who was playing extremely well.
