Cowboys acquire Rolando McClain, IR Sean Lee

The Dallas Cowboys are giving middle linebacker Rolando McClain another chance.

They acquired him via a trade from the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for a 2015 sixth-round draft pick. The Cowboys acquired McClain's rights and the Ravens' 2015 seventh-round pick.

Agent Pat Dye said that McClain intends to play this season.

McClain has been activated from the reserve-retired list.

McClain was signed last year, but has retired twice from the Ravens.

McClain said earlier this spring that he had lost the desire to play.

He was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest last year.

McClain struggled during his tryout for the Ravens and opted not to play.

Now, he has changed his mind and is getting a shot with the Cowboys.

The Cowboys are in dire straits at inside linebacker with Sean Lee now placed on injured reserve with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
