He has working history with Jason Garrett Brad Biggs
Jason Garrett moved a step closer to having his revamped Dallas Cowboys coaching staff completed.
The team announced today that former University of Tennessee coach Derek Dooley has been hired as the wide receivers coach, an addition that will shift Jimmy Robinson, who held the position this last season, into a senior consultant role.
That switch for Robinson is interesting as he helped bring out the best in Dez Bryant over the last two seasons. As the Dallas Morning News reports, Dooley has a close relationship with Garrett. They worked together under Nick Saban with the Miami Dolphins.
Now, Garrett must find a running backs coach and tight ends coach to complete his staff.
