Cowboys could be moving headquarters

The Dallas Cowboys could be uprooting their headquarters and making a move.

The club’s facility at Valley Ranch in Irving, Texas, is 28 years old and is outdated and the organization is seeking to move into new digs. David Moore of the Dallas Morning News reports that Frisco is courting the franchise and that the Cowboys have already met with officials in Arlington about moving to a location near Cowboys Stadium. Irving doesn’t want to lose the team, either.

“We would not have a comment other than to say it’s very premature to discuss anything along the lines of potential options for our training headquarters,’’ Cowboys vice president of public relations Rich Dalrymple told Moore.

Owner Jerry Jones has purchased land in Frisco but it’s too early to say precisely what direction the team will go.
