Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Jay Ratliff could be placed on injured reserve, ending his season.

It hasn't happened yet, but owner Jerry Jones said it's under consideration.

Ratliff is on the reserve physically unable to perform list.

Ratliff has hamstring and groin injuries.

"There's no question that's a possibility here," Jones told KRLD. "When you say done in Dallas, I don't know about done in Dallas, if you look at the rest of Jay's career, but certainly from the standpoint of this year. We've got a situation that's not positive as to him getting out on the field. We're gonna see as we get through this week what we're going to do technically, [about] his roster status."
