The Dallas Cowboys are down to the NFL roster limit of 53 players after placing safety Matt Johnson on injured reserve for the second year in a row.
They have made their roster cuts, including undrafted linebacker Brandon Magee.
Magee got a guaranteed total of $70,000 in his contract following the NFL draft.
The Cowboys' other cuts: quarterback Alex Tanney, receiver Anthony Armstrong, tackle Edawn Coughman, safety Jakar Hamilton, linebacker Taylor Reed, tackle Demetress Bell, running back Kendial Lawrence, cornerback Xavier Brewer, defensive end Jerome Long, defensive end Jabari Fletcher, linebacker Caleb McSurdy, linebacker Cameron Lawrence, defensive end Thaddeus Gibson, guard Ray Dominguez, receiver Danny Coale, defensive end Jason Vega, receiver Tim Benford, defensive back Micah Pellerin, defensive back Sterling Moore and guard Kevin Kowalski.
