Raiders cornerback D.J. Hayden was in a walking boot at Monday's OTA practice, according to a report form the San Francisco Chronicle.
Raiders coach Dennis Allen said Hayden rolled his ankle and told reporters that it doesn't appear serious.
A first-round pick in 2012, Hayden has had an injury history, most notably when he needed to have surgery on a torn heart valve. He had surgery last year to repair some scar tissue form the initial procedure, which kept him out of the offseason program.
Hayden played in eight games as a rookie but missed the second half of the season due to a groin injury.
The Raiders were among the worst defenses in 2013 and will need Hayden to come on strong this season to improve their secondary.
