Linebacker not attending voluntary offseason program Aaron Wilson
Denver Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams is working out on his own in Miami, a decision that will cost him a $100,000 workout bonus.
For him, it's worth it to spend his offseason with family back in South Florida.
"D.J. has been working out hard since the season ended," Tony Fleming, Williams' agent, told the Denver Post. "He's been in touch with the Broncos about his plans. This isn't some kind of message or anything. He just has a good workout program going at home."
Williams is making $6 million this year, including a recently collected $3 million roster bonus.

Millions upon millions, and they still complained they're under paid. They should make a salary cap for individual players too. This way no one feels as if they're under appreciated because some other guy is getting paid more. The way they're getting paid now, I would be walking around in my shoes in Florida in my expensive condo by my first pay check. Not having any worries about money for some time to come. The truth is too many professional athletes feel they should be bathed in money before they play. Well the reality is you're getting paid to play, just as I get paid to ship products for a living. Quit crying and do what you supposedly love, and quit worrying about how much money you're getting. It's more than plenty, I assure that.
