It's going to take a long time to get the results of DNA testing in the sexual assault case surrounding Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, if a DNA sample is collected from Roethlisberger, it will take six to eight weeks for the resuts to come back in.
"DNA has been nothing short of a revolution in cases of sex assault allegations," University of Pittsburgh law professor David Harris told the newspaper. "They can prove that there was activity between two people, if there is any question of the person being accused not being the right one."
Roethlisberger has been accused of assaulting a 20-year-old woman at a Georgia bar.
No charges have been filed.
According to Georgia attorneys, the district attorney won't be rushing to judgment.

Diana, slow down just a bit.
Vick had charges filed against him and then he plead guilty. After the charges, the league suspended him. Roethlisberger has been accused (now twice), but still has yet to have charges filed against him. You can bet that if criminal charges are levied against Roethlisberger, he will be suspended.
Why do you have to throw out the race card here?
Good One ICDogg. Love the NCIS reference...... :-)
6-8 weeks? It never takes that long on NCIS. Get Abby and Ducky on it pronto.
ummm, if no sample was collected yet, then I guarantee you it is too late to get one now. Who's this bimbo's lawyer, Elmer Fudd? Ben should've been smart enough to avoid this sort of thing, but at least he isn't like smarmy Tigger Woods who had to go into "rehab",...what 12 step program is that, Whoremaster's Anonymous?

I have read that this guy blew off a young girl from the Make a Wish Foundation without a second thought. He is an accussed Rapist and now accussed of assaulting a young 20 year old College student. Do they come any bigger hunks of ^%$# than this jerk? Wow, when you think of what they did to that QB from Atlanta for just being accussed of hurting Dogs and than to sit back and watch how the NFL does nothing and even uses the NFL Network to try and spine things in this clowns favor makes me sick. If I was that Black QB I would sue the hell out of the NFL for what is a double standard, one for white QB's and players and another for black QB's and players.
